Short History

This is a short history of Liberty Hill Community.
Liberty Hill Community is a rural community located in south Lincoln County, Georgia.  On our property across the pond, there is a Rural One Room Schoolhouse which was once supported by a Boarding House a short distance away.  I have met two elderly neighbors who attended school at the Liberty Hill School in the time frame of 1920-1928.  It is a real pleasure to look across our pond and view this building and during the course of your visit to this site, you will find an occassional picture of the Schoolhouse.  This is my favorite:
